The Student Activities Council presented its annual cosmic bowling event to students in conjunction with the local bowling alley Bearcat Lanes Nov. 1.

The spirit of the 1980s drag culture opened eyes in a screening of “Paris is Burning” at Franken Hall Oct. 18.

Through social media and much coaxing from one particular police officer, many students participated in the University Police Department’s jump rope challenge.

The atmosphere was serene and the audience captured. The light flutter of his fingers made a beautiful sound escape from the instrument like a soft whisper on the wind. Concert flutist Mark Sparks commanded the stage of the Charles Johnson Theater Oct. 8.

Career Service’s first-ever Speed Networking event Sept. 25 offered students an opportunity to practice making a good first impression when meeting potential employers and did so with a unique twist.

A tale of determination, dejection and documentation enthralled students as Julissa Arce shared her incredible story with the Northwest campus Sept. 25.

Family weekend started Sept. 14 with Bobby’s Bistro at 8 p.m. and ended Sept. 15 with magician Derek Hughes at 7 p.m.
