Ezra Mohn, a freshman graphic design major from Fillmore, Missouri, was found dead in his off-campus Maryville residence July 24. Local police indicate no foul play is suspected at this time. 

Counseling is always available to students through Wellness Services, which can be reached at 660-562-1348 during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. University Police can be contacted outside of regular business hours at 660-562-1254. Faculty and staff should call the University employee assistance program at 800-964-3577.

A Nodaway County counseling support line is also available to all members of the Northwest community at 888-279-8188.

Northwest President John Jasinski sent a mass email July 24 notifying the community of Mohn's death.

"I've been in contact with Ezra's family members and ask that you please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers," Jasinski said.
