A tractor-trailer hauling a windmill tower overturned on U.S. 71 South of Bradyville, Missouri, at 7:42 a.m. Oct. 7.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the tractor-trailer operator drove South on U.S. 71 when the oversized load overturned onto its side and hit an embankment off the road. The southbound lane is expected to be closed for at least four hours as the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office and MSHP work to clear the area.

Authorities said the public should expect commuting delays and watch for first responders.
