Here are some tips to help you make the most of your experience parking on campus.

1. All residents who plan on parking their vehicles on campus must have a parking permit. These passes can be purchased during advantage week or anytime throughout the year at the Student Services Center of the Administration Building. Each pass costs $90 and is valid for up to one year.

2. Commuting students can purchase a parking pass anytime throughout the year. They cost $45.

3. There are certain parking lots that are only for faculty and staff. All vehicles parked in these lots will be issued a ticket and/or towed at the vehicle owner's expense.

4. All tickets are charged to the vehicle owner's Northwest account.

5. If a vehicle receives a citation while parked on campus and it has not been properly registered, the owner of the vehicle shall be responsible for the citation and a surcharge for a license plate check with the Motor Vehicles Department.

6. Temporary parking permits are available at the Student Services Center or Campus Safety. Campus Safety is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Student Services Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
